Row 44 Offers New In-flight Wi-Fi Roaming Service through Skype Access

Westlake Village, CA (February 13, 2011) – In-flight broadband provider Row 44, Inc. today announced an agreement to offer commercial airlines worldwide “pay-as-you-go” in-flight Internet browsing service for passengers. The service leverages Row 44’s in-flight broadband platform to deliver Skype Access, a facility that lets Skype users quickly and easily connect to the Internet and pay-as-you-go.

For airlines equipped with Row 44’s broadband connectivity system, Skype Access offers another level of broadband service flexibility. Passengers can better control their costs by using Skype Credit to pay for Wi-Fi roaming via Skype Access by the minute.Row 44 expects to begin discussions with its airline partners during Q1 2011 regarding supplementing Row 44’s current offering with Skype Access functionality.
